Vigdís Stefánsdóttir

I live in Iceland and I am the founder member of my club, Reykjavik-Grafarvogur http://www.rotary.is/grafarvogur/ which is Iceland's youngest club. Here in Cardiff I belong to St. Davids http://www.cardiffstdavidsrotary.org/ which is great fun. I found out about you guys at the district conference in Manchester last year. I think it is great to have an internet community as I am constantly trying to get pepole into computers:)

I am studying here in Cardiff, MSc in Genetic counselling and when it is over in May 2006, I go back to Iceland to work.

I like computers and the internet and I maintain quite a lot of websites. I use Dreamweaver for most but Plone for the University web in Cardiff and SoloWeb for the Univeristy web in Iceland.

My interest in Rotary is to be able to help and I am constantly trying to find ways to help children. St. Davids does a lot but I often find need for help on a smaller scale, individual scale and I think it might be possible to set up a sceme for that.
