Terry Harper joined Round Table in 1959 and retired to 41 Club in 1974.

Just after the Rotary Club of the Sussex Vale was chartered in 1986, he was persuaded to join and became President in 1998, coincident with his retirement from employment as Sales and Marketing Manager for a leading company in the field of Glass Furnace design and construction.

It also allowed him to escape from the duties of Secretary. For much of his membership he has been responsible for the Club's monthly bulletin, and recently has taken the lead in the annual Rotary Kids Out! day for his club and their parent club, who share the effort required.

He set up his club's website in 1998 and acts as webmaster to this time. He is also a member of Clayton Windmills Probus Club, formed in 1999, and serves as a volunteer driver and committee member for the local Community Bus.
