Middle School Science Teacher for 22 years. Now retired.
My primary interest in life is Rotary. I learned from my Father about Rotary, as he became a President and told me a little about Rotary and something about its worldwide scope. When I was offered the opportunity to join in 1986, I immediately joined, and learned a little more about Rotary.
When Polio Plus was announced, being a science teacher, I knew in my heart then what the effects of Rotary could be world-wide and became a Rotarian, rather than a Rotary Member. But after I joined ICUFR, it was the fellowship aspect and the opportunity to travel to our own Conferences where I began to meet Rotarians from around the world.
It didn't then take long to exchange hugs and make the friendships that I will always cherish. And if you travel around our ICUFR website and Forums, you will find many of the actions and activities that we have accomplished in our more than 13 years as a fellowship.
In my 'spare' time I work on my Family History, listen to Music, and as a long past amateur Race Driver, I spend time watching many races, and going to the track itself to watch and help my nephew, who is racing sprint cars and stock cars. Now, where can I buy some more spare time......
