One Rotary Club goes 'paperless'.

You may be interested to see the first club bulletin in our district to be 100% electronic.

Hard copy versions are available on each page either by printing the page or by downloading in plain text.

All members have access to the internet.

The club has 33 members and this group of pages has had over 5000 hits since July 1st.

This is the URL:

http://www.rotary9790.org.au/clubs/dtok/dcreek/bulletin/pageone.html

Use F11 when page one opens. On each page navigation is provided in the top menu, a button "Next Page" and in a "Contents" list on page two.

The bulletin is sometimes nineteen  A4 pages.

The club programme is on a server database and is maintained by a programme secretary. The ASP page presents the next 28 days:

The club duty roster list is maintained on line in a database by the Club Service Chairman and that database supplies this ASP page which always shows from seven days prior for the next 40 days.

Birthdays, anniversaries and Rotary events are taken from our membership database and the ASP pages displays the next 28 days without intervention by anyone..

Additionally members are provided with an on line opportunity to record an apology for absence from a meeting. The output is fed to the venue caterer, the club service chairman and the attendance officer.

To complete the digital Rotary Club make-ups are reported by a form:

I will be pleased to give more details if anyone is interested.
